In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

In press statements on Thursday, Al-Nounu said that the last round of negotiations at the end of last month between Hamas and Israel had nearly reached a final agreement to end the aggression on Gaza. He added that the negotiations were halted by Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes committed in Gaza, and with the backing of US Middle East envoy Steven Witkoff, following the withdrawal of both the American and Israeli delegations. Al-Nunu pointed out that Netanyahu is deceiving the Israeli public, claiming that the release of captives is a top priority, while in practice, he pursues contradictory goals, such as calling for the occupation of Gaza and rejecting any return to the negotiating table, instead placing obstacles in the way. He explained that Hamas is ready to immediately engage in negotiations if sufficient humanitarian aid and food supplies are allowed into Gaza, a step that would end Israel’s starvation policy. He further noted that Hamas leadership is “in daily contact with our brothers and mediators in Qatar and Egypt regarding the entry of aid and the needs of Gaza in a sufficient and dignified manner,” adding that both countries are making “positive efforts to ensure that as much aid as possible reaches our people in the Strip.” Al-Nounu stressed that Hamas is actively working on multiple regional and international levels to achieve two main goals: the delivery of humanitarian aid and a full end to the war of starvation and genocide against the Palestinian people. This effort, he said, builds on the movement’s long-standing relations with Arab and Islamic nations, especially with the brotherly countries of Qatar and Egypt. Regarding accusations that Hamas is beholden to regional powers, Al-Nounu affirmed that the Movement’s decisions are “completely independent and based on the interests of the Palestinian people.” He denied any claims of Iranian or other foreign interference, saying, “Such allegations are entirely baseless and false.” He emphasized that “Hamas maintains good relations with Iran, Arab and Islamic countries, and many components of the Muslim nation, but not on the basis of interfering in the Movement’s decisions or positions.” *** 'Hamas: Netanyahu’s intentions to occupy Gaza are coup against negotiations Thursday 7-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement has denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent remarks about occupying Gaza, describing them as a blatant coup against the negotiation process, driven by his personal ambitions and ideological agenda. In an official statement issued Thursday evening, Hamas said: “What the war criminal Netanyahu is planning constitutes a continuation of the policies of genocide and forced displacement by committing further crimes against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.” 'Hamas added that Netanyahu’s statements to Fox News “represent a clear reversal of the negotiations path and explicitly reveal the real motives behind his withdrawal from the latest round of talks, despite the parties being close to reaching a final agreement.” The Movement stressed that “Netanyahu’s plans to expand the aggression leave no doubt that he is seeking to get rid of the prisoners in Gaza and sacrifice them to serve his own interests and extremist ideological agenda.” “Gaza will remain unbreakable in the face of occupation and attempts to impose guardianship over it. Expanding the aggression against our people will not be a walk in the park; its cost will be high and painful for the occupation and its Nazi army.” The Movement called on Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the international community, to “condemn and reject these dangerous statements, to take immediate action to stop the aggression, end the occupation, and enable our people to exercise their right to self-determination. The leaders of the Zionist enemy must be held accountable for their ongoing crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip.” In a recent interview with Fox News, aired shortly before Israel’s security cabinet was set to vote on a full re-occupation of Gaza, Netanyahu was asked whether Israel plans to take full control of the Strip. He responded: “We intend to do that.” The Israeli Prime Minister added that Israel aims to “eliminate Hamas” in Gaza, after which it would hand over the territory to a “civil administration, not Hamas, and not anyone who calls for the destruction of Israel.” Netanyahu continued: “That’s what we want to do. We want to free ourselves and the people of Gaza from the horrific terror of Hamas.” However, he did not specify who might govern Gaza after the war, nor has Israel presented any such plan. Israel’s ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has now entered its 23rd consecutive month, amid a relentless escalation of massacres against civilians, most of them women and children, and the continuation of a suffocating siege that has led to a catastrophic deterioration of humanitarian conditions in the besieged enclave. *** ý Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza warns of the catastrophic impact of airdropped aidThursday 7-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip issued a warning on Wednesday about the dangers of the ongoing airdropping of humanitarian aid, stressing that it poses catastrophic risks to the lives of civilians. The Ministry pointed out that the airdrop operations are being exploited by the Israeli occupation as part of its “engineered starvation policy” in order to spread chaos and lawlessness by encouraging the activities of looters and bandits. The Ministry further confirmed that it is closely monitoring the field situation and fulfilling its duty to support citizens amidst what it described as a campaign of “genocide” being committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza. It noted that the airdrops often result in large numbers of injuries due to crowd stampedes and, in some cases, even deaths. It explained that aid boxes frequently fall directly onto homes and tents of displaced persons, leading to casualties, including women and children, as happened today in northern Gaza. The drops have also destroyed tents and caused significant property damage. The Interior Ministry further highlighted that the amount of aid delivered via parachutes is minimal and fails to meet even the basic needs of the population suffering from a worsening famine. It emphasized that the aid received through this method is negligible compared to what could be delivered by trucks through land crossings. The Ministry stressed that the harm caused by airdropped aid, including chaos, loss of life, and property damage, far outweighs any potential benefits. It asserted that the only viable way to end the humanitarian crisis and systematic starvation is to open land crossings and allow the consistent and sufficient flow of food and humanitarian aid on a daily basis. The Ministry concluded by appealing to all countries participating in airdrop operations to reconsider what it called this “deadly” practice and urgently halt it in order to protect the safety of civilians in the Gaza Strip. One person was killed and others were injured on Wednesday due to falling aid boxes during the airdrop operations in northern Gaza. For over 10 days, Arab and Western countries, including Egypt, the UAE, Jordan, Morocco, the United States, France, and Germany, have been conducting joint airdrop operations to deliver food aid to various parts of the Gaza Strip. However, human rights and UN organizations continue to stress the urgent need to open land crossings to deliver aid to a population facing a dire famine that has already claimed dozens of lives. Previous chaotic airdrops of humanitarian aid led to the deaths of 18 Palestinians and injuries to many others when boxes fell directly on civilians due to flawed airdrop operations, according to documentation by the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor in the months before the January truce. *** HRW: Israel bombed 500 schools in Gaza, destroying children’s future Thursday 7-August-2025 WASHINGTON, (PIC) The Human Rights Watch (HRW) released a new report on Thursday confirming that Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, have damaged more than 500 schools. Many of these schools were being used as shelters for displaced Palestinian civilians, highlighting the absence of safe spaces for Gaza’s population, most of whom are displaced. The report announced that hundreds of Israeli attacks involved US-supplied munitions, many of which were indiscriminate and unlawful. These attacks resulted in the killing of hundreds of civilians and caused extensive damage to the majority of schools in the Strip, depriving thousands of children of access to education in a safe environment. HRW explained that the ongoing attacks on schools, which had been turned into shelters, are destroying Gaza’s remaining civilian infrastructure and forcing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians into repeated displacement, amid an increasingly dire humanitarian crisis. The organization warned that repairing and rebuilding the damaged schools will take a long time and require massive resources, likely disrupting education in Gaza for years to come. HRW called on all governments, including the United States, to impose an arms embargo on Israel and take urgent measures to implement the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Gerry Simpson, associate director of the HRW Crisis and Conflict Division, emphasized that airstrikes on schools housing displaced families are “a snapshot of the bloodshed committed by the occupation forces,” urging global governments not to tolerate such horrific violations against civilians seeking safety. The report confirmed that the organization found no evidence of military targets in the schools targeted by Israel, including Zaytoun School in Gaza City and Khadija Girls’ School in Dair El-Bala'h. The organization stressed that indiscriminate attacks on schools constitute a clear violation of international humanitarian law, noting that the use of schools as shelters does not change their legal status as protected civilian sites. According to a report from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Israeli strikes targeted several schools during July, killing 59 people and displacing dozens of families once again. UNRWA, for its part, noted that around one million displaced persons in Gaza took shelter in schools during the assault, with 836 of them killed and more than 2,500 injured. A recent assessment found that 97% of schools in Gaza were either partially or completely damaged, with 92% requiring either full reconstruction or major rehabilitation. Meanwhile, Israeli reports revealed that the Israeli army had formed a special unit tasked with systematically identifying schools to target. The reports also indicated that double-tap strikes on schools have become increasingly common in recent months. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has waged a campaign of genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of all international appeals and International Court of Justice orders to stop. Backed by the United States, this genocide has resulted in over 212,000 Palestinians killed or injured, the majority being women and children, with over 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people and a famine that has claimed many lives. *** WHO: 14,800 patients in Gaza urgently need medical care Thursday 7-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, revealed on Wednesday that more than 14,800 patients in the Gaza Strip are in urgent need of specialized medical care, calling for the acceleration of medical evacuation operations. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ghebreyesus said that the WHO facilitated the medical evacuation of 15 critically ill children, along with 42 of their relatives, from Gaza to Jordan on Wednesday morning. “More than 14,800 patients in Gaza still urgently need specialized medical care. We urge more countries to take action to receive patients and to accelerate medical evacuations by all possible means,” he added. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip and starving the Palestinian population. On March 2, it further tightened restrictions by closing the crossings to humanitarian, relief, and medical aid, triggering a famine that has reached catastrophic levels. *** Indonesia to open medical facility on Galang Island for 2,000 Gaza wounded Thursday 7-August-2025 JAKARTA, (PIC) The Indonesian presidency announced Thursday that it is preparing a medical facility on the uninhabited island of Galang to receive and treat approximately 2,000 wounded Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. The facility will serve as a temporary center for medical care, after which the patients are expected to return to Gaza once they recover. Presidential spokesman Hassan Nasbi told reporters, “Indonesia will provide medical assistance to about 2,000 Gaza residents, victims of the war, including the wounded and those pulled from the rubble,” emphasizing that “this initiative is not a displacement operation.” Nasbi explained that the facility on Galang Island, located south of Singapore and off the coast of Sumatra, is currently uninhabited and thus suitable for temporary use to host the wounded and their accompanying family members. He confirmed that the patients would return to the Gaza Strip after treatment, although he did not provide a detailed timeline for the initiative’s launch or completion. Questions about implementation were referred to Indonesia’s foreign and defense ministries, both of whom have yet to issue a response. The plan follows an earlier proposal by President Prabowo Subianto to provide refuge and treatment for wounded Palestinians. That offer sparked criticism from senior Indonesian clerics who expressed concern that it resembled US President Donald Trump’s controversial plan to resettle Palestinians outside Gaza permanently. At the time, Indonesia’s Foreign Ministry reiterated the country’s firm stance in support of a two-state solution and said it “strongly rejects any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians.” Galang Island previously hosted a sprawling refugee camp run by the United Nations until 1996, where around 250,000 people fleeing the Vietnam War once took shelter. The same site was later converted into a hospital for COVID-19 patients during the pandemic in 2020. *** WHO: Starvation-related deaths rising in Gaza Friday 8-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, confirming that deaths caused by hunger and malnutrition are increasing at an alarming rate amid the ongoing Israeli blockade and the difficulty in delivering humanitarian aid. Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the WHO, said in a press conference: “Malnutrition is widespread in Gaza, and hunger-related deaths are rising; this is deeply concerning for the international community.” The organization revealed that in July alone, around 12,000 children under the age of five were diagnosed with acute malnutrition, placing them at high risk of death or long-term health damage. The WHO added that restrictions on the entry of food and medical aid have worsened the collapse of Gaza’s healthcare system, which now suffers from severe shortages of medicines and essential medical supplies. The organization called for the immediate reopening of border crossings and unhindered access for humanitarian aid, stressing that saving civilian lives in Gaza requires urgent international action. The United Nations confirmed that hundreds of aid trucks per day are needed to end the famine caused by the blockade and the ongoing campaign of genocide waged by Israel over the past 22 months. Although Israel allowed limited humanitarian aid to enter Gaza in recent weeks, following sharp international criticism after it completely blocked aid since March 2, it has also facilitated the looting of aid trucks and protected those thefts. *** Gaza’s medical crisis deepens: Surge in amputations and worsening child malnutrition Thursday 7-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Hospitals in the Gaza Strip are sounding the alarm over an unprecedented collapse in the medical situation, as the Israeli ongoing war on the enclave continues to produce mass casualties, starvation, and long-term disabilities, particularly among children. A'hmed Na'eem, Director General of 'Hamad Rehabilitation and Prosthetics Hospital, stated on Wednesday that the number of limb amputations has surged by more than 225% since the start of the Israeli war in October 2023, with over 4,500 new cases recorded. This brings the total number of amputation cases to 6,500, a figure that far exceeds the hospital’s capacity, which had previously manufactured just 150 prosthetic limbs annually. “At this rate, it would take more than 20 years to meet the current needs,” Naim said, stressing that even with ambitious plans to raise production to 400–500 limbs per year, the Israeli blockade is preventing the entry of vital materials. He added that some cases require re-amputation due to imprecise initial procedures, complicating prosthetic fitting. “Our staff is overwhelmed and working beyond capacity, and we’re actively seeking technical support and skill development to cope with the crisis,” he added. Meanwhile, the Director of the Children’s Hospital at Nasser Medical Complex Dr. A'hmed El-Farra reported a worsening crisis among Gaza’s youngest population. He said children suffering from diabetes, pneumonia, and other chronic conditions are experiencing severe complications due to widespread starvation and malnutrition. “Malnutrition has become routine here,” he said, noting that recovery periods are now significantly longer and that psychological trauma is spreading across families. “Children in Gaza will need a very long time to recover, physically and emotionally.” The scale of devastation in Gaza is staggering. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the Israeli occupation forces, with full US backing, have killed more than 61,020 Palestinians and wounded 150,671 others, while over 10,000 remain missing under the rubble. Famine has already claimed dozens of lives, with more than two million Palestinians living in forced displacement under catastrophic conditions. Data from the Government Media Office in Gaza and United Nations agencies indicate that over 88 percent of Gaza’s buildings have been destroyed, with total losses surpassing $62 billion. *** ****** Gaza death toll from Israeli war exceeds 61,200, including 197 from starvation Mu'hamed Majid and Betul Yilmaz |07.07.2025 - Update : 07.08.2025 Anadolu, GAZA CITY, Palestine, ISTANBUL -- At least 61,258 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, including 197 who have died from hunger, the Health Ministry said on Thursday. A ministry statement said 100 bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, while 603 people were injured, taking the number of injuries to 152,045 in the Israeli onslaught since October 2023. The ministry also said that four more people died from starvation and malnutrition over the past day, pushing the death toll since October 2023 to 197, including 96 children. A medical source told Anadolu that 16-month-old Mu'hammed Zakariya 'Asfour lost his life at the Nasir Medical Complex in Khan Younus as a result of starvation-related complications amid a severe shortage of food and medicine due to the Israeli siege. Activists shared videos on social media showing Mohammed’s extremely frail body and protruding bones. The ministry also said that 51 Palestinians were killed and 230 injured while trying to get humanitarian aid in the past day, bringing the total number of people killed while seeking aid to 1,706 with over 12,030 others wounded since May 27, when the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation began operations. Israel has imposed a blockade on Gaza for 18 years and, since March 2 has shut down all crossings, blocking the entry of humanitarian aid and worsening conditions for the territory’s 2.4 million population. According to Gaza’s government media office, Israel allowed in just 92 aid trucks on Wednesday – far short of the 600 trucks needed daily to meet the needs of the residents. The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18, breaking a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January. Efforts for another truce led by the US, Egypt and Qatar have so far not yielded any results. *** Dozens of Palestinians in Gaza massacred amid ongoing Israeli genocide Thursday 7-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Thursday, to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians. According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine. According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli drone attack on citizens that killed two of them in Bani Suhayla town, east of Khan Younus. Several people were injured when aid boxes fell on homes during an airdrop operation in Gaza City’s Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood. An elderly woman was martyred when Israeli forces opened fire at tents near the site of the bombed Tayba buildings in western Khan Younus. The bodies of two martyrs were evacuated from 'Abasan El-Kabeera town in eastern Khan Younus following an Israeli strike. A warplane also bombed an apartment in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing a couple and their two daughters. Another couple and their child were martyred and others were injured when a helicopter attacked a house belonging to the family of El-Hadeedi in Al-Shati refugee camp in the west of Gaza City. Three people were also martyred when an airstrike targeted an apartment belonging to the family of Zaqqout in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. A citizen called A'hmed Abu Sa'hloul, his wife and children were killed and others were injured when a warplane targeted their home in Khan Younus refugee camp. The Israeli occupation army also attacked tents in Rouni Sali'h street in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus, injuring several people. A mother and her six-year-old daughter were killed and others suffered injuries in an Israeli strike on a tent near the Dream venue in the west of Khan Younus. More people were martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near distribution points in southern and central Gaza. Six people, including two children, were pronounced dead due to starvation and malnutrition, according to Gaza’s health ministry. The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women. Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks. *** Several civilians killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on different areas in Gaza GAZA, August 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Several civilians were killed and wounded by Israeli occupation forces' fire and shelling in several areas of the Gaza Strip from midnight last night until Thursday morning. Four citizens, including two girls, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on an apartment in the Al-Sali'hi Tower west of Al-Nusayat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, four other people were killed, along with several others injured, in an Israeli airstrike targeting an apartment belonging to the Al-'Hadeedi family in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City. Three citizens were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Zaqqout family home near the Al-Nour Al-Mu'hammedi Mosque in Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood north of Gaza City. In Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip, a citizen, his wife, and his children were killed in an Israeli airstrike on their home in the western camp west of the city. A girl was also killed and others were injured in an airstrike that targeted a tent near the Dream Hall west of the city. Two women were also killed in an Israeli drone strike on a tent sheltering displaced persons west of Khan Younus. In the city of Dair El-Bala'h in the central Gaza Strip, five civilians were killed and others wounded while waiting for aid east of the city, after being targeted by the Israeli army after midnight last night. The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 61,158 Palestinians and 151,442 wounded, including 1,655 children. The number of wounded has reached 11,800 among those waiting for aid, and 193 civilians, including 96 children, as a result of famine and malnutrition. Y.S. *** Seven Civilians killed, including children and women, in Israeli shelling in Gaza City GAZA, August 7, 2025 (WAFA) - Seven civilians, including women and children, were killed and others were injured on Thursday evening in Israeli shelling of different areas in Gaza City. WAFA correspondent reported that six civilians were killed in an Israeli shelling targeting a tent sheltering displaced people at the Beer Sheva Mosque in Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood northwest of Gaza City. The shelling led to the killing of a local resident, 'Abdullah Abul Jubain, his wife, and children. A woman was also killed and a man was seriously injured in Israeli strikes that targeted three houses near the city's Al-Shawwa Square. T.R. *** Six citizens, including two children, die in Gaza due to starvation and lack of medical treatment Thursday 7-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Thursday the martyrdom of six more citizens, including two children, one of them an infant, due to starvation and lack of medical treatment, as the Israeli blockade and genocide enter their 22nd month. According to the ministry, four people died in the past 24 hours due to malnutrition and the collapse of healthcare services. The Nasser Medical Complex later confirmed the martyrdom of two additional children, including Muhammad Asfour, a one-year-and-four-month-old infant, who died from starvation-related complications. A medical source at the hospital confirmed that the child’s death was the result of severe shortages in food and medicine, and the inability of hospitals to provide basic care. Videos shared by activists on social media showed the infant lying weak and emaciated on a hospital bed, underscoring the depth of Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. The Nasser Complex also reported the death of a two-year-old girl in the Al-Mawasi area, also from severe malnutrition and a lack of medical attention. These latest deaths raise the total number of victims of Israeli-induced famine to 199, including 98 children. The toll continues to grow, particularly among infants, as the Israeli siege prevents food, medicine, and humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza’s population. The humanitarian disaster continues to worsen, with famine deepening alongside the persistent Israeli war on the enclave. Since March 2, 2025, the occupation forces have shut down all crossings into Gaza, barring most food and medical convoys from entering. As a result, severe famine has engulfed the Strip. United Nations agencies and Palestinian organizations have repeatedly warned that the continuation of this siege and the denial of aid are setting the stage for mass deaths, especially among children. The Strip’s health system has completely collapsed, and families face an impossible struggle for survival under conditions that international observers describe as among the worst humanitarian catastrophes in modern history. *** Starvation and acute malnutrition claim four more lives in Gaza GAZA, August 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced the deaths of four Palestinians in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip. This brings the total number of the starvation-related fatalities to 197, including 96 children. The ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen, due to the blockade and shortages of food and medical supplies. The severe famine is intertwined with the genocidal war waged by Israel since October 7, 2023. Since March 2, 2025, the occupying authorities have closed all crossings with the Gaza Strip, blocking the entry of most food and medical aid, further accelerating the spread of famine across the territory. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has warned that malnutrition among children under five doubled between March and June as a result of the ongoing blockade. The World Health Organization confirmed that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached alarming levels, with nearly one in five children under five in Gaza City suffering from acute malnutrition. Since October 7, 2023, Israel, the occupying power, has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, including deliberate killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it. The genocide has left more than 209,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and famine has claimed numerous lives. Another Palestinian was also injured in the attack after being struck with the bulldozer’s hammer attachment. The Israeli occupation court in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) released the colonist Yanon Levy, accused of killing activist and teacher 'Oada El-Hadthaleen, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, placing him under house arrest. The colonist was released despite the incident being documented on video. The colonist Levy had previously been placed on sanctions lists in Canada and Britain for his involvement in colonist violence. Participants in the protest, called for by the Factions Coordination Committee and the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, held up banners denouncing the demolition of the school. Toubas and the Northern Jordan Valley Governor A'hmed Al-As'ad said that the occupation's demolition of the Aqaba School violates all international agreements, expressing his condemnation of the demolition of the school, which was funded by the French government. “Israel is trying to destroy every avenue of education, especially in the eastern areas of Tubas,” Al-As'ad said. “But the will of our people is stronger than their bulldozers.” 'Azmi Balawna, Director of Education in Tubas, pointed out that the school was supposed to serve 100 students, noting that this aggression targeting education will not undermine our children's determination to obtain an education. He pointed out that the protest is a message to the entire world that the will of the Palestinian people will remain stronger than violence and destruction. For his part, Ma'hmoud Sawafta, Secretary of the Fatah Movement in Tubas, said that the school was more than just a building, but rather was a place an edifice of peace, knowledge, and love. By demolishing it, the occupation is destroying the dreams of children and future generations, noting that this is the true face of the occupation. Sawafta called on international institutions to put an end to the injustice inflicted by the occupation on the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The occupation demolished the two-story school on Tuesday. The school, which was to cover an area of 704 square meters, was built on a land area of five dunams. Y.S. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich joins illegal Israeli settlers in storming former illegal colony near Jineen Jineen, August 7, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers, accompanied by far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, raided the area of “Tarsala” near the town of Jaba’, south of Jineen in the northern occupied West Bank. The colonists continued to storm the area despite its intermittent evacuation. Joining Smotrich was Yossi Dagan, head of the Settlements Council in the northern West Bank, who also participated in the incursion. In May, Israel's Security Cabinet approved the reestablishment of 22 illegal colonies in the occupied West Bank, including the former colonies of Homesh and Tarsala in the Jenin governorate. Y.S. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack Al-Mughayyir village in Ramallah Friday 8-August-2025 WET BANK, (PIC) A group of the armed illegal Israeli settlers attacked the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, on Thursday evening. Local sources confirmed that dozens of settlers stormed the western outskirts of the village, specifically the “Marj Si’” plain area between Al-Mughayyir and Abu Fala'h. Unarmed residents confronted the assailants. According to the sources, Israeli occupation forces also stormed the village to protect the settlers, leading to clashes. During the confrontation, soldiers fired stun grenades and toxic gas canisters at the residents, though no injuries were reported. Al-Mughayyir and other towns and villages in the eastern and northeastern areas of Ramallah have been repeatedly targeted by settler attacks in recent months. These attacks have resulted in the killing of several residents, the injury of others, and widespread destruction, including the burning of homes, facilities, and agricultural lands, along with racist graffiti and various other assaults. *** Illegal Israeli settlers continue leveling Palestinian land south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) Al-Khaleel (Hebron), August 7, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers resumed bulldozing Palestinian-owned land in the village of Dair Razi'h, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron). WAFA correspondent reported that a group of armed colonists began bulldozing lands in Khirbet Dair Razi'h, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), pin order to pave the way for the expansion of a colonial outpost established last December. Later last year, occupation bulldozers and colonists bulldozed approximately 400 dunams of land owned by the 'Amro family. They cut down trees, destroyed crops, and paved a 3-kilometer-long colonial road. Y.S. *** Illegal Israeli settlers bulldoze vast tracts of Palestinian land in a West Bank village Thursday 7-August-2025 Al-Khaleel (Hebron), (PIC) A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers bulldozed on Thursday vast tracts of Palestinian-owned land in Birin village, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) in the occupied West Bank, under military protection. Chief of the village council Fareed Burqan reported in the morning that those settlers were still carrying out bulldozing operations at different sites of Bireen as a prelude to building a new outpost, roads and farms. “These bulldozing activities are happening close to the villagers’ homes, threatening their existence and resilience on their own lands,” Burqan said, warning that the village would become encircled from all sides by settler outposts. He pointed out that the Israeli occupation authority had already seized about 7,200 dunums of land from the village’s total area of 8,000 dunums. He said that the villagers live in fear of forced displacement as government-backed settler violence and expansion in the West Bank increasingly endangers Palestinian homes, lands, and their very survival. In a separate incident, another group of settlers bulldozed swaths of Palestinian land in Dair Razi'h village, southwest of al-Khalil, preparing the site for the expansion of their illegal outpost. According to local sources, armed settlers used bulldozers to level swaths of land in Dair Razi'h village in order to expand the outpost they had built in December of last year. At the end of last year, Israeli forces and settlers bulldozed about 400 dunums of land belonging to the family of Amr in the village, where they uprooted trees, destroyed crops and built a colonial road stretching three kilometers. In another incident, extremist settlers stole today a tent and agricultural equipment in the northern Jordan Valley. *** Illegal Israeli settlers steal tent and agricultural equipment belonging to Palestinian farmers in northern Jordan Valley JORDAN VALLEY, August 7, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Thursday stole a tent and agricultural equipment from Palestinian farmers in the northern Jordan Valley, according to local source. They said that a group of colonists stole a tent belonging to farmer Fayiz M'uhammed Abu Mutawwa' from the Dair area, while another colonist stole agricultural irrigation hoses pipes from the Khirbet El-Farisiyah community. The northern Jordan Valley has been witnessing near-daily settler attacks, including assaults on Palestinian homes, the theft and destruction of property, and harassment against shepherds and their livestock. Y.S. *** The Israeli occupation apartheid regime force Palestinian to self-demolish his house near Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), August 7, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forced a Palestinian to self-demolish his home in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) . According to Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate, a resident of Wadi El-'Hilwa neighborhood of the town of Silwan, was forces to demolish his house in order to avoid paying exorbitant fees if the municipality carries out the demolition. The occupation authorities force Palestinians, particularly in occupied Jerusalem, to self-demolish their homes under the pretext of lacking a permit. Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Municipality systematically refuses to grant Palestinians building permits. These practices are part of Israel’s systemic policy to forcibly displace Palestinians from occupied East Jerusalem, paving the way for the expansion of illegal colonies in and around the city. Y.S. *** Israeli forces demolish Palestinian house in Al-Khaleel (Hebron) Al-Khaleel (Hebron), August 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished a home in the Abu Katila neighborhood of Hebron at dawn on Thursday. WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed the city of Hebron with a large number of military vehicles, deployed in the Wadi El-Bassas area of the Abu Katila neighborhood, and closed roads and prevented citizens from moving amid heavy firing of live ammunition, sound bombs, and tear gas at homes and vehicles. They also raided the home of the family of prisoner Abdul Ra'heem El-Haymouni, forcing its residents to leave before proceeding with the demolition. It should be noted that the occupation forces notified the family of prisoner El-Haymouni in late June of the decision to demolish their home. Y.S. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** South Africa urges global recognition of Palestine Thursday 7-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) South Africa has called on the international community to formally recognize the State of Palestine and take urgent action to stop Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip. Speaking on Tuesday, South African minister of international relations and cooperation Ronald Lamola said “growing outrage among Israel’s allies over the situation in Gaza signals that the world is edging closer to halting the ongoing atrocities.” “We urge more countries around the world to recognize the State of Palestine,” Lamola said, adding that such moves would increase pressure on Israel to end its crimes against the Palestinian people. South Africa has been a leading voice in opposing Israel’s war on Gaza and in December 2023 filed a landmark case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), accusing it of committing acts of genocide. The move has catalyzed a global response, with countries such as Spain, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico, Türkiye, Chile, and Libya voicing stronger support for the Palestinian cause. More recently, the leaders of France, Britain, and Canada have declared plans to formally recognize Palestine in September, calling on others to follow suit. According to Gaza’s health ministry, over 60,000 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of the war, while 2.4 million people are now facing worsening famine. Lamola warned that signs of famine in Gaza were already visible. “We warned the world this would happen. If action had been taken earlier, [this] humanitarian catastrophe could have been avoided.” *** Slovenia bans imports from Israeli settlements in response to Gaza war Thursday 7-August-2025 LJUBLJANA, (PIC) The Slovenian government announced on Wednesday a prohibition on imports of goods from illegal Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank, in a step intended to put more pressure on Israel to end its war on Gaza. Slovenia’s government has frequently criticized Israel over its war in Gaza and last year recognized a Palestinian state as part of efforts to end the fighting in Gaza as soon as possible. “The actions of the Israeli government … constitute serious and repeated violations of international humanitarian law,” the government said in a statement on Wednesday. Slovenia “cannot and must not be part of a chain that enables or overlooks” such violations, it said, including the “construction of illegal settlements, expropriations, and the forced evictions of the Palestinian population.” The Slovenian government, therefore, decided to “ban imports of goods originating from Israeli illegal settlements.” It described its move as a “clear reaction to the Israeli government’s policy, which … undermines the possibilities for lasting peace and a two-state solution.” “While symbolic,” the ban “is a necessary response to the ongoing humanitarian and security situation in Gaza,” Slovenia’s foreign minister Tanja Fajon said of the measure. The government said that it was also examining a ban on exports of goods from Slovenia “destined for illegal settlements,” saying that it would also “decide on further measures.” Early in July, Slovenia was the first EU country to ban two far-right Israeli ministers from entering the country. It declared both Israeli ministers “persona non grata,” accusing them of inciting “extreme violence and serious violations of the human rights of Palestinians” with “their genocidal statements.” *** Senior EU official says Israel’s actions in Gaza ‘look very much like’ genocide BRUSSELS, August 7, 2025 (WAFA) – A senior EU official stated on Thursday that Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip ‘look very much like’ genocide. “What we are seeing is a concrete population being targeted, killed and condemned to starve to death. A concrete population is confined, with no homes — being destroyed — no food, water or medicines — being forbidden to access — and subject to bombing and shooting even when they are trying to get humanitarian aid. Any humanity is absent, and no witness[es] are allowed," European Commission Executive Vice President Teresa Ribera told Politico. "If it is not genocide, it looks very much like the definition used to express its meaning," she added. She urged the EU to consider suspending the EU-Israel Association Agreement and suggested the EU countries opposed to measures against Israel register their objection by abstaining from any votes on EU actions, while allowing the majority to pass them swiftly. “Consensus is not always about unanimity in enthusiasm. Sometimes, it means finding room to move forward while acknowledging the concerns of those who feel cornered … Could we decide on the suspension of the association agreement and/or other measures to reach those goals through a constructive ‘non-objection’ decision?” Sanctions, she said, would require unanimity within the EU. But if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu moved to take full control of the Gaza Strip, Ribera said the international community and individual countries "should use the means that could facilitate the return to compliance." "What ... has been said and done by the Israeli authorities go far beyond the international law limits," she added. Ribera warned that inaction could damage the EU's credibility, saying: "We need to show that Europe is not just a set of institutions, but a political and moral project with the courage to respond when human lives are at stake." Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians. The death toll reached at least 9,752 with 40,004 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 100 slain Palestinians, including two retrieved from the rubble, and 603 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals. Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 61,258 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 152,045 others. Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
